September Recap-Week 4

The Playa Weeks

Sandy Toes 2.0 is a reality…..inside it’s basically a box at this point and with a few outside embellishments still to be done, but it’s all mine. Next up, building on a couple of room additions.

Lunch in Tulum at the popular El Camello Jr. It’s ALL ABOUT the ceviche there.

I woke up with this “heart” on my knee. It doesn’t itch or hurt, but it’s been over a week and hasn’t faded at all. Hmmm….

My current read and my current series.

One of my fave fruits in Playa: Rambutan. Tastes like a grape with the texture of a kiwi. I can’t get enough!

Sr. E and I were watching, “Taco Chronicles” on Netflix and there was an episode about suedero tacos. Neither of us had ever heard of them. They looked super greasy, but super good. I googled, found a place in the Centro that sells them, and off we went. These tacos did not disappoint. So we bought 6 more to eat for breakfast the following morning.

Typical stop light entertainment.

Paddle Boarding in Playa

This morning Sr. Elizondo and I went paddle boarding. The instructor/owner was from the Netherlands. He was super informative and just plain cool. By the end of our hour, both Sr. E and I were successful paddle boarders. I can’t wait to go again.

It feels so good to be back at my happy place.

See these two sink holes? There is actually a Cenote underneath the beach. The fresh water bubbles up from the underground cave into the Caribbean.
