I’m scrapping my upgraded stay at home wardrobe after one day. (No “I told you so” from the peanut gallery.) I know in my heart it’s never gonna happen. I’m just not that kinda gal.
Viva la “At Home Comfort”!
That being said, I have another fashion post theme in mind. Stay tuned.

I literally went from wearing a sweater, sweats, and socks last week to a t-shirt and shorts this week. Monterrey is now in straight up heat mode.
It’s time to transition my closet from winter to summer and this is a great time to closet purge. I’m an anti-hoarder. Purging my closet, organizing, streamlining all give me happy goose bumps. The questions I ask myself: Did I wear that sweater this year? Do I ever wear that sweater? Has that black purse seen better days? Do I really use 15 winter scarves?
I’ve been actively doing this for a few years now. My winter wear now fits nicely into 2 large bins as I slowly pair down. (This doesn’t include coats.) I’m using the extra 3rd bin for the more worn out, older, cheaper summer items I have. If I don’t miss them, they will be part of the seasonal purge later this year.

Ever since I saw this J. Hannah pendant/locket on Instagram, I’ve been obsessing about it. It would make the perfect Valentines gift for any woman. Sr. Elizondo, are you listening?
If you received this pendant, what would you put in it?

Because I don’t know what kind of winter if any we will have, I decided on purchasing layering pieces.
Madewell: Lavender velvet tank. Striped tee w/scoop neck.
Stradivarius: Wine color blouse that fits great. Plaid blazer w/black, pale blue and coral.
HM: Zip front hoodie with ruching on sleeves.

I think I’ve had a pair of Birkenstocks in my closet since I was around 22-23 years old. Some years I wear them constantly and other years they sit in my closet and collect dust.
i bought my 4th pair recently. They’re the perfect traveling sandal and I spotted them everywhere on our recent trip. In my opinion, they’re classic, never go out of style shoes.
I’ve been trying to get Sr Elizondo to buy a pair, but he’s content with his Crocs. Different strokes for different folks.

Maybe on a shoe, scarf, purse…trust me, you have this…
No brainer since floral has been a trend for awhile now…
Plaid (in all colors)
Who doesn’t have a plaid flannel or a significant other that has one…
Red or Pink, the brighter the better
Triple trend it and wear them both together…
Just tie one on…

I don’t remember how I found their website, but I think Magnolia Pearl clothes are vintage inspired perfection. The website itself takes you to another place, playlist included. You could say I’m slightly obsessed.
